Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain risk tolerance limits, risk appetite metrics, and escalation thresholds for major risk stripes.
  • •Identify emerging risks and ensure execution against relevant policies, frameworks, and control mechanisms for key enterprise risks.
  • •Monitor and report aggregate risk profile, initiate actions to ensure adherence to risk appetite, and support escalation to Governance Committees.
  • •Provide oversight of internal control framework and management of risks, including third-party and outsourcing risk.
  • •Maintain and continuously enhance the Legal Entity Risk Management Framework and lead functional oversight of risk management activities and governance structures for French legal entities.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of leadership experience in risk management, compliance, treasury, controllership, or a similar role.
  • •Strong analytical skills and business acumen with a risk-reward control perspective.
  • •Strong understanding of local market regulatory requirements and the payment institution industry in Europe.
  • •Experience interacting with regulators and familiarity with the Europe regulatory landscape and requirements.
  • •Fluency in English (verbal and written); advanced degree is preferred and FRM/CFA certifications are valued.
