  • •Provide technical expertise for studies and design efforts, including complex value engineering evaluations to determine alternative designs and construction techniques.
  • •Perform quality control reviews of others’ work and approve/sign off on deliverables.
  • •Be accountable for team results and adherence to the agreed budget for a specific package of work.
  • •Train, mentor, and evaluate less experienced staff and deliver effective communication on expectations and requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven track record (+12 years) in ground and tunnelling engineering designs for Transportation and Water projects.
  • •Proficiency in rock mechanics.
  • •Proficiency using analysis and design software including Rocscience, Plaxis (2D/3D), Geostudio, Openground, and Leapfrog.
  • •Demonstrated commitment to quality control and quality management systems.
  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geological Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Civil Engineering (recognized university).
