Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and execute supply chain strategies for complex productivity and new product development projects across cross-functional teams.
  • •Coordinate supplier selection and assessment, quotations, commercial negotiations, and new-part release with internal partners.
  • •Engage suppliers early in concept/design reviews and evaluate design alternatives, make-versus-buy, cost, lead time, and development timing.
  • •Manage pre-production sourcing activities including NDAs, RFQs, supplier negotiations, purchase orders, prototype tracking, samples, trials, first article inspections, and production part approvals.
  • •Drive year-over-year material price reduction and ongoing supplier performance improvements (quality, delivery, cost, inventory, on-time delivery) with management reporting and audits.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline and a strong technical background.
  • •Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing or operations experience in the mechanical industry with sourcing or supply chain experience for engineering, new product development, or complex productivity projects.
  • •Strong understanding of process and material technologies, technical drawings, and supplier sourcing processes, including cost and bill-of-material analysis.
  • •Knowledge of first article inspection and production part approval processes; office software and enterprise resource planning systems.
  • •Able to speak and understand English fluently (written and oral) and demonstrate teamwork, cross-functional communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
