Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the key client interface, ensuring client objectives are met through value-added cost management service delivery.
  • •Produce and present cost plans and estimates, including reviewing design services, reconciling changes, and preparing cost estimate updates.
  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders, manage cost checks, valuations, cost variances, and change control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • •Drive cost impact/contingency management and commitment tracking, and coordinate cost discussions across contractors, suppliers, equipment vendors, and design teams.
  • •Prepare monthly cost reports and support funding data presentations/value engineering sessions, including negotiating final accounts in a timely manner.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role within the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium to large construction projects with medium to high complexity.
  • •Strong construction consultancy experience and good knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
