Assist AVI-SPL project management teams with communication, change management, and timely, on-budget delivery of smaller-complexity project deliverables. Learn AVI-SPL project processes in the Operations Playbook, review contract documents, coordinate milestone tasks, and support internal/external kick-off meetings. Maintain project communication and documentation, compile progress reports, handle change order support, review site updates, and help ensure proper closeout/as-built documentation and customer-focused execution.

Key Responsibilities

•Learn and follow AVI-SPL standard project processes in the Operations Playbook using approved tools.
•Review contract documents for assigned projects, including scope of work, drawings/specifications, and construction schedules.
•Manage project team resource tasks and milestone activity, and facilitate documentation during kick-off meetings.
•Coordinate internal/external project communication and documentation; respond to customer communications and compile progress reports.
•Support equipment request/shipping workflows, assist with change order processes, and help ensure closeout/as-built documentation is properly created and stored.

Key Requirements

•Demonstrated experience in an assistant Project Manager or Project Coordination role.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and PDF software.
•Ability to manage tasks and resources to meet project objectives.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) along with attention to time management.
•Ability to travel to various job sites as required; applicants must have full working rights in Japan.
