Job Summary

Own critical production issues and serve as a subject matter expert for investment portfolio data management within Investment & Distribution Services. Lead global, follow-the-sun support by resolving complex cross-region, cross-team, and cross-vendor concerns related to cash management, investment book of record integrity, and end-to-end investment service processes. Drive research, analysis, and global project execution for new instruments, regulatory changes, and system implementations, while mentoring analysts and administrators worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide subject matter expertise and lead recommendations to resolve complex cross-region, cross-functional, and cross-vendor production issues accurately and efficiently.
•Support day-to-day operations and participate in daily production support as needed, escalating issues appropriately.
•Liaise with stakeholders including Investments, Compliance, and service providers (custodians, fund accounting agents, transfer agents, and outsourcing vendors) on cash-related concerns.
•Lead global research, analysis, implementation, documentation, and training for new business requirements/projects, including new instruments, regulatory changes, and system implementations.
•Develop global support and oversight models, ensure SOP documentation and cross-training, and mentor global team members on performance and risk mitigation.

Key Requirements

•14+ years overall with a minimum of 6-8 years’ investment management industry experience.
•Excellent knowledge of investment products and end-to-end investment services processes (trade entry, processing, settlement, valuation, cash management, corporate actions, and fund accounting).
•Proven ability to identify and resolve complex, multi-dimensional business problems using broad functional and process knowledge.
•Previous experience with business applications such as Charles River and Aladdin.
•University degree in Finance or a related business area; MBA and CFA/professional accounting designations (CMA, CGA, CA, CPA) are assets.
