Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and participate in audits of Group Compliance Function activities and processes across UAE, international network, and subsidiaries.
  • •Provide assurance by identifying weaknesses, reporting and escalating significant audit findings, and agreeing management action plans to address issues.
  • •Manage and develop audit teams by providing guidance, on-the-job training, and knowledge sharing for completion of objectives and tasks.
  • •Establish and maintain audit programs in the central audit management tool, including risk assessment of process streams in the audit universe.
  • •Deliver timely, accurate reporting and ongoing consultancy to unit management and stakeholders on governance, risk management, and control improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience with an international bank or Big 4; internal audit experience strongly preferred.
  • •Working knowledge of compliance function activities, processes, and associated risks.
  • •Working knowledge of bank and audit policies/procedures and, where relevant, Central Bank regulations.
  • •Good analytical skills and verbal/written communication skills; self-directed and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
