Key Responsibilities

  • •Be involved in the product development activities from the conceptual stage to mass production, including meeting customer requirements and safety guidelines
  • •Use 3D modeling and surfacing CAD software to design new products and generate 2D drawings per mechanical drafting standards
  • •Perform mechanical tolerance analysis and DFMEA, and set up/maintain bill of materials
  • •Support prototype/pilot builds and conduct mechanical verification tests
  • •Release mechanical prints and parts qualification reports, and compile information for user manuals or instruction sheets

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
  • •3-5 years of working experience in related field
  • •Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • •Knowledge of material properties (sheet metal and plastic) and assembly processes (SMT, plastic ultrasonic welding, resistance welding, low pressure molding)
  • •Proficiency with Creo Parametric 3D software and plastic tooling constructions
