Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and scale Looker engagements across the Nordics, advising clients and identifying new business opportunities.
  • •Set standards for LookML development, review the team’s work, and ensure delivery quality and client expectations are exceeded.
  • •Build trusted relationships with Google’s local and regional teams to position Devoteam as a preferred Looker partner.
  • •Mentor and develop the data team, promoting continuous learning around the modern data stack.
  • •Partner with sales by connecting market trends and new Looker features (including conversational analytics) to client pursuits.

Key Requirements

  • •Several years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise Looker solutions.
  • •Deep knowledge of LookML, including caching policies, PDTs, and hub-and-spoke architectures.
  • •Strong proficiency in Google Cloud, specifically BigQuery, including query optimization and partitioning.
  • •Ability to design BI and analytics solutions end to end, with clear trade-offs on where logic lives (dbt vs LookML and PDTs) and how it’s governed and scaled.
  • •Deep SQL knowledge with hands-on experience with transformation tools such as dbt.
