Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute commodity and supplier sourcing strategy for logistics services (transportation, warehousing, crating/packaging, brokerage).
  • •Own sourcing process and contract administration, including RFx planning/lead, sourcing event teams, and rate structures/bid analytics.
  • •Manage supplier relationships and lead supplier capability assessments and negotiations.
  • •Drive cost, margin, and quality optimization initiatives and supplier performance improvements using standardized SLA measurement and reporting.
  • •Ensure cross-business-unit collaboration and maintain industry awareness to identify and mitigate supply/capacity risk and support onboarding of new suppliers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain or related fields (MBA and NAPM/APICS certification preferred).
  • •5–8 years of progressive experience evaluating and managing new and existing suppliers with logistics/supply chain industry experience.
  • •Comprehensive understanding of domestic and international supply chain for transportation, warehousing, and crating/packaging operations.
  • •Experience with sourcing and supplier management, including contract/rates optimization, supplier capability assessments, and negotiations.
  • •Strong commercial negotiation, project management, and leadership skills; high proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio) and English fluency; domestic/international travel up to 25%.
