Job Summary

Lead HSE engineering efforts by interpreting project requirements and applying deep discipline expertise to solve complex, nonstandard problems. Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed analyses and design for fire protection and safety systems, including preparing calculations, technical reports, and design philosophies. As (Lead Engineer), direct engineering teams, coordinate execution scope/deliverables, manage interfaces, support procurement and bid estimates, and participate in safety workshops, audits, and design reviews.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed analyses and engineering design per design basis, project specs, codes, and standards.
•Prepare detailed design calculations, analyses, and design reports/procedures for HSE and fire protection systems.
•As Lead Engineer, direct engineering teams and lead discipline execution (scope, deliverables, schedule, manpower) within budget and schedule.
•Provide technical direction and review for designers; support safety study deliverables including HAZID/HAZOP workshops and safety study close-out reports.
•Coordinate with project teams and external parties, manage interfaces/verification (including IDC), support procurement and bid estimates, and conduct/participate in audits and design reviews.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering.
•15-20 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant performing detail design.
•Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or member of a professional engineering society as applicable.
•Detailed knowledge of design techniques and analysis methods, and of applicable standards, codes, and guidelines.
•Knowledgeable in project coordination and execution skills.
