Job Summary

Serve as the first point of contact for clients, keeping IT infrastructure and systems running smoothly. Monitor client environments, investigate and resolve standard/low-complexity incidents and service requests, and ensure zero missed SLA conditions. Handle first-line incidents through telephonic support, ITSM tickets, or chat, perform routine maintenance such as patching and configurations, and contribute to disaster recovery testing and reporting/escalations.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor client infrastructure and solutions to identify problems and errors before or as they occur.
•Investigate and resolve first-line incidents and service requests for standard and low-complexity issues.
•Provide client support via telephony, ITSM tickets, or chat and maintain a positive client experience.
•Perform maintenance activities such as patching and configuration changes, and support work optimization.
•Contribute to disaster recovery functions and tests, including incident reporting and escalation when necessary.

Key Requirements

•Entry-level experience troubleshooting and supporting security, network, data centre, systems, or storage in a medium to large ICT organization.
•Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and ITIL processes.
•Highly disciplined ticket handling, acting promptly according to defined SOPs.
•Ability to resolve tickets using knowledge articles and SOPs.
•A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in IT or Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
