Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce accurate, comprehensive estimates and cost plans for projects in a timely and efficient manner.
  • •Control and manage the estimating process at project level, including producing estimates without management or supervision.
  • •Support the change control process and develop value-for-money through reports and benchmarking analysis.
  • •Undertake commercial assurance and negotiation of contractors’ offers.
  • •Support development and promotion of estimating good practice within Turner & Townsend.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified to a high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experience.
  • •Relevant successful experience providing estimating and/or QS services in a large project environment.
  • •Previous experience working with estimating software packages.
  • •Membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status or working towards it.
  • •Desirable membership of RICS / CIOB / A. Cost E.
