Job Summary

Lead delivery of civil engineering design projects for the AMP8 water industry, taking ownership across health & safety, technical quality, schedule, and budget. Manage multi-disciplinary teams, strengthen client relationships, and support bid preparation and resource planning. Contribute to innovative solutions, digital products, and the team’s Future Ready and Net Zero programmes, while line managing and mentoring graduate engineers and apprentices.

Key Responsibilities

•Take ownership for project delivery including health & safety, technical, quality, schedule, and budget.
•Manage multi-disciplinary teams and oversee engineering delivery outcomes.
•Build client relationships to ensure project outcomes and customer satisfaction.
•Contribute to innovative approaches, new services, digital products, and Future Ready/Net Zero implementation.
•Line manage and support the professional development of graduate engineers and degree apprentices.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Civil Engineering.
•Chartered status, or significant progression towards membership of the ICE or CIWEM.
•Experience managing engineering design teams across civil engineering and supporting disciplines.
•Experience delivering projects to an agreed budget and schedule.
•Experience in a checking or technical approval role on linear civil infrastructure projects, or industrial/process related design.
