Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and control the Permit-to-Work (PTW) issuance, validation, suspension, extension, revalidation, and close-out process.
  • •Verify prerequisite controls, approvals, and correct permit category/certificates before issuing permits.
  • •Coordinate PTW and SIMOPS conflicts through daily meetings and with Operations, Construction, Commissioning, Maintenance, and HSE stakeholders.
  • •Conduct/coordinate site verification and inspections to confirm permit conditions, energy isolation/zero-energy requirements, and safe worksite controls; suspend or stop work when violated.
  • •Lead Permit Issuers and maintain PTW records/registers, including daily/weekly statistics, audits, and incident investigation support.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, HSE, Construction, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Minimum 10 years of oil & gas experience, preferably in onshore production facilities, EPC projects, brownfield projects, or major maintenance projects.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in Permit Issuer / Area Authority / PTW supervision.
  • •Demonstrable experience on ADNOC Onshore projects is highly desirable and may be mandatory for PMC positions.
  • •Valid ADNOC-approved Permit to Work / WMS certification appropriate to the assigned role, plus H2S Awareness and First Aid/Fire Fighting certifications.
