Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain Python and AWS CLI automation for cloud data operations.
  • •Design, execute, and troubleshoot large-scale data migration and transfer workflows, including AWS DataSync workflows.
  • •Configure and manage Amazon S3 storage and lifecycle policies, and implement S3/Glacier archival and retrieval workflows.
  • •Support NetApp ONTAP and SnapMirror replication activities and migrate active datasets to FSx ONTAP and historical datasets to S3/Glacier.
  • •Monitor and troubleshoot data transfers, storage, synchronization, performance issues, and optimize cloud storage and transfer/archival costs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 135,000 - 145,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience, with 5+ years in cloud engineering, data engineering, or cloud automation, plus 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
  • •Hands-on experience with Amazon S3 and implementing/managing S3/Glacier lifecycle policies and archival solutions.
  • •Hands-on experience with AWS DataSync and experience with NetApp ONTAP and/or SnapMirror replication.
  • •Experience performing large-scale data migrations and transfers, including terabyte- to petabyte-scale datasets.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
