Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver large-scale Government technology portfolios (around £30m+) with accountability for delivery performance, governance, quality, and financial outcomes.
  • •Oversee multiple concurrent programmes and projects, ensuring alignment to client strategy and contractual commitments.
  • •Own programme financial performance including budget control, margin management, forecasting, and cost modelling.
  • •Provide governance and assurance: implement KPIs, proactively manage risks/issues/dependencies/change control/quality/configuration management.
  • •Lead and develop cross-disciplinary delivery teams, secure resources, and drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven track record leading complex Government programmes and portfolios exceeding £50m in value.
  • •Experience delivering large-scale transformation and policy-driven digital services (tax, compliance).
  • •Ability to engage and influence CXO-level stakeholders.
  • •Experience managing distributed, multi-supplier and client-side teams, with advanced stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • •Must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).
