Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the materials management team by setting priorities and workload across materials managers and coaching expediting practice.
  • •Expedite capital equipment orders with direct schedule consequences, renegotiating vendor commitments recoverable by the site schedule.
  • •Own the consolidated root-cause and reporting rhythm to PMs and leadership for every delivery miss (cause, corrective action, new date).
  • •Manage 4-5+ suppliers, CMs, and ODMs across concurrent project sites to prevent colliding capacity, lead times, and allocations.
  • •Read engineering drawings and specs against orders and travel to vendor sites to verify production status and push recoveries in person.

  • •Experience leading a team of buyers or materials managers, setting priorities and coaching expediting practice.
