Job Summary

Lead cross-functional hardware engineering teams to design guidance system and flight avionics hardware for missiles, including FPGA, RF/RADAR, Navigation/IMU/GPS, Digital, and Power subsystems. Provide technical guidance, manage suppliers, and collaborate with program teams, customers, and partners across multiple programs, travel as needed, and mentor teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Guide a cross-functional team through hardware design, analysis, and lifecycle activities including architeching new electronic systems and developing subsystem requirements and test plans.
•Provide subject-matter expert peer reviews of designs and deliver presentations to peers, management, and government customers.
•Mentor and be mentored in a culture of continuous learning within Missile Systems.
•Support multiple programs and collaborate with functional, program management, customers, and suppliers.
•Travel as required, including potential foreign travel.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
•Minimum of 10 years' experience in flight avionics with electrical hardware development, sub-systems, systems engineering, requirement development and/or requirement validation.
•Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
