Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide direct supervision to inventory control employees, including staffing agency relationships for temporary employees.
  • •Spend ~75% of time on the operational floor with associates—engaging, coaching, teaching, and delivering performance feedback.
  • •Manage allocation of equipment and labor resources to departments to meet service levels and budgets.
  • •Ensure regular quality and accuracy control audits and consistent application of inventory control policies/guidelines.
  • •Plan and execute cycle counting and physical inventories, and align on SOP updates and training/cross-training needs.

Key Requirements

  • •College degree in a logistics-related field, or five to ten years of relevant work experience.
  • •Previous experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS); JDA WMS preferred.

  • •Strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal/human relations skills.
  • •Ability to lead and develop both self and others, motivating collaboration and accountability.
