Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale Snowflake data platforms, including target-state architectures, standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.
  • •Drive cloud data modernization and enterprise migrations to Snowflake, defining migration strategies, data models, and ELT/ETL deployment approaches.
  • •Advise stakeholders through discovery sessions and architecture workshops, translating business needs into scalable, secure, high-performing Snowflake solutions.
  • •Optimize platform performance, scalability, security, data governance, reliability, and overall cost using Snowflake capabilities (e.g., Snowpark, Data Sharing, Time Travel, Streams & Tasks, Dynamic Tables).
  • •Provide technical oversight across multiple concurrent workstreams and support delivery teams in resolving complex technical and architectural challenges.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • •Snowflake certifications (SnowPro Core required; advanced certifications desirable).
  • •10+ years in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or cloud data platform delivery, including 5+ years designing enterprise Snowflake architectures.
  • •Proven expertise with Snowflake capabilities (e.g., Snowpark, Secure/Time Travel/Data Sharing, Streams & Tasks, Dynamic Tables) plus performance, security, and cost optimization.
  • •Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform), including CI/CD and automation; strong SQL plus Python or Java.
