Job Summary

Lead stakeholder engagement, consultation, and communications for major infrastructure projects across Ireland. Develop communications strategies and project narratives for multiple audiences, support consultation delivery through surveys and feedback analysis, and plan physical and virtual events. Manage client relationships with accurate reporting, contribute to business development via opportunity identification and tender responses, and oversee projects, teams, budgets, and junior colleagues with line management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop communications strategies, delivery plans, and project narratives/key messages and collateral for digital, media, community, statutory, technical, and elected representative audiences.
•Identify and map key stakeholders, set engagement strategies and delivery plans, and support consultation delivery through surveys and feedback analysis.
•Plan and deliver physical and virtual events, including logistics, safety/wellbeing, tailored materials, Q&As, and briefing colleagues.
•Maintain strong client relations through liaison with internal/external clients, ensuring high customer service and accurate, timely reporting.
•Manage a range of projects, project teams, and budgets; deliver on time and on budget; support junior colleagues (including line management responsibilities).

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience delivering communications, engagement, and consultation for projects of varying scale, ideally major infrastructure schemes.
•Track record in business development: spotting opportunities, nurturing relationships, and turning them into commercially viable ventures.
•Experience managing teams of different sizes/complexity and supporting junior colleagues’ career development.
•Strong sector experience relevant to infrastructure, energy, water, transport, residential, and commercial development, with confidence engaging diverse stakeholders.
•Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent years of successful, relevant experience.
