Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and participate in safety training.
  • •Conduct geological and structural mapping and sampling of mine; perform Ore markups and ROMPAD supervision.
  • •Manage RC grade control activities (drilling planning, daily site supervision, RCGC logging, and sample dispatch follow-up).
  • •Collect, compile, and report geological findings (weekly geology report, monthly operations data, and end-of-shift reports).
  • •Use geological software to analyze and interpret data, support model-mine-mill reconciliation, and maintain accurate records.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Geology.
  • •2–3 years’ experience in open pit/underground mining operations.
  • •Experience with 3D geological software including Leapfrog and Surpac, plus grade control coursework.
  • •Knowledge of mine safety regulations and industry best practices for geosciences.
  • •Ability to write technical reports and perform data analysis; computer skills in Geovia Surpac, Leapfrog, and MS Office.
