Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in and manage Groupon’s overall tax strategy, including short- and long-term goals, driving tax research and planning.
  • •Manage advisory projects covering country legislation changes and EU/OECD directives (e.g., BEPS 2.0), plus tax analysis for reorganisations, restructurings, and M&A.
  • •Monitor MDR (DAC6) reporting requirements in Europe and manage overseas tax authority enquiries and audits.
  • •Coordinate corporate income tax compliance by managing external advisers and overseeing outsourced transfer pricing compliance (Master/Local files).
  • •Partner with the business to assess tax implications of new initiatives and intercompany transactions and support alignment with the transfer pricing model.

Key Requirements

  • •ACCA/ACA, CTA or ADIT qualification with at least 5 years’ post-qualified experience.
  • •Strong tax technical ability and a deep understanding of international tax advisory and compliance.
  • •Experience managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • •Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills, with fluent English.
