Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop multi-cloud support for new database engines beyond AWS DocumentDB, evaluating alternatives such as Firestore, Google Cloud Platform, or Alibaba Cloud.
  • •Contribute to migrating legacy architectures toward modern deployment and orchestration standards like Istio and serverless architectures.
  • •Develop centralized mechanisms for managing queries and database segmentation to improve platform operational efficiency.
  • •Implement security improvements, supporting encryption adoption and robust access controls.
  • •Resolve complex, high-impact technical issues in a critical high-traffic service while collaborating with other engineering teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience building distributed systems with high availability and low latency.
  • •Experience using, administering, and modeling non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
  • •Knowledge of cloud architectures on AWS and container orchestration.
