Job Summary

Field Test Engineer to lead hands-on troubleshooting, operation, and testing of autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) in a dynamic subsea robotics environment. You will manage local and global field operations, develop test plans, coordinate vendors, and support software UI and documentation for AUV platforms from Quincy, MA, with travel.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead day-to-day local operations for multiple AUV platforms, including conducting pre-mission testing, launch and recovery, vehicle tasking, and data analysis.
•Deploy globally in support of at-sea AUV operations from a variety of support vessel types.
•Write, review, and execute test plans during sea testing.
•Coordinate test execution with 3rd party vendors, partners, and logistics companies.
•Author detailed daily operational test reports to document the step-by-step execution of internal and customer facing efforts to test and evaluate AUV platforms and new capabilities.

Key Requirements

•Experience with Linux and command line interfaces as well as software debugging.
•Knowledge of electronics troubleshooting and basic use of test equipment.
•Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
