Key Responsibilities

  • •Own planning and drive execution of platform-solution engineering functions to enable best-in-class customer solutions.
  • •Align AMD business unit product deliverables with customer platforms to ensure customer satisfaction and quality throughout the product lifecycle.
  • •Engage technical and business leadership to define program scope, establish integrated schedules, manage progress/risk, and handle resource and budget plans; manage end-to-end validation and platform execution.
  • •Represent the Client Systems Engineering organization in corporate planning and execution forums, including presentations to Senior VPs and executive staff.
  • •Support customer-facing engineering/business teams with product maturity and schedule expectations, product collateral development/distribution, and issue resolution.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Solid knowledge of technical program management and experience delivering software/hardware programs from concept through customer ship.
  • •Experience driving product development with hardware platforms and related software ecosystem, including x86 SoC products, firmware, and PC industry suppliers/OEMs (preferred).
  • •Breadth knowledge of x86 CPU/SoC/Chipset/Graphics architecture and experience with functional, electrical, power-performance, or security pre- and post-silicon validation.
  • •Demonstrated ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly and lead technical teams.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication with executive-level presentation skills; ability to influence across internal organizations and translate technical discussions into clear messaging.
