Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker I in a Financial Center by using a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to identify customer needs and recommend retail consumer and small business solutions. Build and deepen household relationships through lobby leadership/aisle time and tele-consulting, cross-sell products, and set appointments using CAMP and approved marketing tools. Partner with business groups (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, and Investment) and guide CSRs on sales and referrals while supporting risk management, confidentiality, and customer experience goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions aligned to the value proposition.
•Utilize CAMP and other approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to the existing customer base and engage in outside sales activities such as onsite presentations, business sales calls, and community financial literacy events.
•Process teller transactions and support platform staffing while partnering with Business Partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) to refer customers and support holistic solutions.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Comfort developing sales activities to acquire new consumer households and small business customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Ability to professionally represent the bank and maintain a working knowledge of retail policies and procedures to make sound decisions.
