Job Summary

Principal Mechanical Engineer - HVAC responsible for interpreting internal and external business challenges in the Mechanical discipline, leading engineering teams on complex projects, and delivering detailed design for HVAC systems in oil and gas through FEED and detailed engineering, with emphasis on leadership, problem solving, and adherence to design standards across offshore EPC programs.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed analyses and design as per project specifications, design codes, and standards
•Lead a mechanical engineering team as Lead Engineer to deliver discipline execution on assigned projects
•Plan, organize, and direct all aspects of discipline execution including scope, deliverables, schedule, and resources
•Ensure interfaces and deliverables are clearly identified and coordinate with other disciplines and stakeholders
•Prepare estimates for bids/proposals and technical documentation, and manage progress and budget as required

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's degree in Engineering
•18-25 years of oil and gas experience with a major contractor or consultant
•Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or member of professional engineering society
•Seasoned structural knowledge; able to organize, motivate, and supervise
•Fluent in English
