Job Summary

Lead the Ecology & Environmental Approvals team across NSW/ACT, driving business performance, P&L outcomes, growth, and strategic client relationships. Reporting to the Director, you’ll build capability, oversee resourcing and operational performance, and champion governance, risk management, and quality. Strengthen WSP’s market presence across sectors including energy, resources, Defence and infrastructure, while mentoring 20+ approvals professionals and leading major pursuits and proposals.

Key Responsibilities

•Bring a strong market profile and trusted relationships across resources, energy, and Defence.
•Shape and deliver business strategy with the Ecology & Environmental Approvals leadership team.
•Lead and develop 20+ environmental approvals professionals across NSW and ACT.
•Drive business strategy, P&L performance, growth and commercial outcomes, including major pursuits, proposals, and business development.
•Strengthen strategic client relationships and champion governance, risk management, quality outcomes, and industry engagement.
