Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and delegate activities of the Risk Management team on complex projects or programmes, with communication to Senior Management/Stakeholders to deliver updates.
  • •Brief the team on project scope, develop leadership relationships with interfacing disciplines, and oversee line management including career development.
  • •Drive continuous improvement in Risk Management processes and ensure the embedding and rollout of identified changes.
  • •Promote the benefits and requirements of Risk Management within the project and programme team.
  • •Provide subject matter expertise, expert analysis (e.g., QCRA, QSRA) to stakeholders and senior management, and train/coach clients and junior team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Tangible experience in managing and delivering Risk Management on complex projects/programmes
  • •Experience in leading Risk Management teams
  • •Experience interfacing with other project disciplines
  • •Practical experience of ISO31000, APM, Orange Book, IPA, and Quantitative Risk Analysis; familiarity with risk tools (Safran, @risk, PRA) and risk software (ARM, Predict!, Risk Controller, riskHive, Xactium)
  • •The ability to work in both delivery and transformation projects (NEC familiarity desirable)
