Key Responsibilities

  • •Comply with safety rules and be familiar with fire equipment in the assigned area.
  • •Monitor unit/plant parameters, record periodic readings, and summarize shift activities in the log book.
  • •Coordinate with shift charge engineer, shift supervisor, and other operators for activities affecting operation.
  • •Act quickly during abnormal operating conditions and ensure proper Lock Out & Tag Out during equipment isolation per Permit to Work.
  • •Inspect equipment and auxiliaries, perform periodic protection tests, handle work requests/defect notes, and support QHSE reporting and waste disposal measures.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Engineering or a Diploma in Engineering.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in the same position.
  • •Comply with safety rules and regulations and understand firefighting equipment, PPE, and first aid measures.
  • •Familiar with plant P&IDs, SOPs, work instructions, operation/control logics, emergency operating procedures, and operation and control documentation.
  • •Proficiency in hazard/risk assessment and aspect-impact knowledge, plus basic computer skills.
