Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership and oversight for cybersecurity activities across assigned classified information systems to ensure risk management, compliance, and inspection readiness.
  • •Act as senior authority for inspections, assessments, audits, and continuous monitoring, directing preparation, response efforts, and closure of findings and POA&Ms.
  • •Oversee and validate system authorization activities under RMF, ensuring quality authorization artifacts and audit-ready documentation using JSIG and/or DAAG where applicable.
  • •Lead cybersecurity Change Control Boards (CCBs) and evaluate proposed system changes for security impact, authorization implications, and risk posture.
  • •Directly manage cybersecurity personnel, including performance evaluations, coaching, corrective guidance, and accountability for execution quality.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
  • •U.S. citizenship is required; Active and existing DoD Top Secret security clearance on day one.
  • •IAM Level III certification compliant with DoD 8570 / DoD 8140 (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSLC).
  • •Demonstrated experience performing ISSM responsibilities for classified or controlled information systems, including RMF and DoD system authorization processes with JSIG and/or DAAG guidance.
  • •Working knowledge of cybersecurity regulations and contractual security requirements, including DD Form 254 interpretation, plus experience supporting inspections, assessments, and audits.
