Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate and research commercial opportunities in healthcare, including identifying commercially viable opportunities aligned with Cedars-Sinai’s goals.
  • •Apply Redesign Health’s scoring frameworks and venture-building methodologies to evaluate, prioritize, and refine innovation opportunities.
  • •Support the Digital Innovation Program infrastructure by socializing the program, meeting with stakeholders, finalizing opportunity zones, and refining an end-to-end evaluation-to-execution pathway.
  • •Source and co-ideate with founders by building a network of external founders and evaluating partnership/company-creation opportunities.
  • •Lead the development and launch of new venture-backed companies, including successfully launching at least one new company annually.

Key Requirements

  • •1–3+ years of experience in venture capital, early-stage investing, startups, or a related field (including research/consulting/strategy).
  • •Healthcare domain expertise preferred, with the ability to develop original investment theses across care delivery, health tech, and digital health.
  • •Fluency in business model analysis, primary and secondary research, investment thesis development, and financial modeling.
  • •Bachelor’s degree required with demonstrated academic excellence.
  • •Ability to move quickly in ambiguous environments and provide succinct answers to complex problems.
