Seeking a Network Engineer SME to support USINDOPACOM J6 IT modernization efforts at Camp Smith, HI. You will define requirements, design and document network solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partners to ensure secure, interoperable enterprise networks in a DoD environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Support IT modernization projects from requirements definition through planning, integration, testing, and transition.
•Collaborate with technical teams to mature prototypes, modernization sprints, and enterprise capability improvements.
•Develop and review network designs, implementation plans, diagrams, and technical documentation.
•Troubleshoot complex network issues and coordinate resolution across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.
•Collaborate with stakeholders and GDIT teams to resolve technical challenges.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•8+ years of related experience in DoD/enterprise IT or equivalent environment.
•Experience in enterprise network engineering, routing and switching, and WAN/LAN design.

•Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, and customer engagement skills.
•U.S. Citizenship is required and the candidate must be able to obtain Final Top Secret clearance.
