Build and assemble injection and blow molds in a tooling manufacturing environment, operating manual and CNC machines while verifying component dimensions with precision measuring tools. Maintain a clean, safe shop and follow safety and emergency procedures, including key-card and access control diligence. Initiate and recommend actions to address non-conformities and support continuous improvement, while learning to work from tooling blueprints and maintaining efficient production with tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities

•Support safety to ensure event-free facilities and respond to emergencies using established procedures.
•Maintain security diligence for key cards and prevent unauthorized facility entry; maintain Amcor equipment security.
•Assemble and check injection and blow molds and operate assigned manual or CNC machines.
•Use precision measuring tools to record component dimensions accurately and hold tight tolerances.
•Identify and initiate actions to prevent non-conformities and suggest solutions/continuous improvements through designated channels.

Key Requirements

•High school education / GED equivalent.
•Able to accurately read blueprints.
•Ability to safely operate a forklift and climb on/off without assistance in high traffic, low clearance areas.
•Ability to push/pull loads of approximately 75 lbs at least 10 times per day/shift and stand/walk for 7.5 hours per 8-hour shift.
•Precision measuring skills to accurately record component dimensions to exact specifications.
