Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop algorithms and applications using large-scale experimentation to build data-driven apps and translate data into intelligence for business problem solving.
  • •Create descriptive analytics outputs such as visualizations, dashboards, or presentations, and communicate insights to support better decision-making.
  • •Support AI/ML, deep learning training and inference frameworks, including research and development activities and contributions to product development efforts.
  • •For robotics/electrical/mechatronics: optimize advanced process control systems to detect signals and automate defect containment.
  • •Define maintenance and calibration procedures and support technology development/product transfers/process integration while engaging with the Virtual Factory network for cross-site learning and problem resolution.

Key Requirements

  • •Final-year undergraduate in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related fields for the AI/ML and data science track; final-year undergraduate in Robotics/Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical/Automation or related disciplines for the robotics track.
  • •Strong programming skills in Python; robotics track also expects basic programming skills in Python, C/C++, or MATLAB.
  • •Strong understanding of machine learning and generative AI concepts (AI/ML track) and robotics fundamentals, control systems, and electrical/mechanical design (robotics track).
  • •Hands-on experience with relevant frameworks/tools: RAG, LangChain/LangGraph, agentic workflows, and data/db systems for AI/ML; CAD tools, sensors/actuators, ROS/ROS2, and embedded systems for robotics.
  • •Ability to commit to an on-site schedule for 3 to 4 days per week and to a 6-month internship duration.
