Key Responsibilities

•Set up hydraulic models for treatment plant infrastructure (HADES) and calibrate with physical data.
•Explore hydraulic modelling scenarios to assess performance under different conditions.
•Develop hydraulic solutions and integrate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop detailed designs and drawings.
•Present findings and technical reports to clients, documenting model assumptions, approaches, results, and uncertainties.
•Engage with clients and use project management systems to help deliver work on time and within budget.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering; chartership or working towards chartership (CIWEM, ICE); experience in open channel hydraulic design including subcritical and supercritical flow and hydraulic jumps; design experience for hydraulic structures (weirs, flumes) and gravity/pressure pipe design; demonstrated ability to develop hydraulic models and calculations for treatment plants independently and to document model assumptions clearly.
