Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up hydraulic models for treatment plant infrastructure (HADES) and calibrate with physical data.
  • •Explore hydraulic modelling scenarios to assess performance under different conditions.
  • •Develop hydraulic solutions and integrate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop detailed designs and drawings.
  • •Present findings and technical reports to clients, documenting model assumptions, approaches, results, and uncertainties.
  • •Engage with clients and use project management systems to help deliver work on time and within budget.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering; chartership or working towards chartership (CIWEM, ICE); experience in open channel hydraulic design including subcritical and supercritical flow and hydraulic jumps; design experience for hydraulic structures (weirs, flumes) and gravity/pressure pipe design; demonstrated ability to develop hydraulic models and calculations for treatment plants independently and to document model assumptions clearly.
