Key Responsibilities

  • •Review procedures and material data sheets for compliance with project specifications and site operational requirements before painting and insulation activities begin.
  • •Ensure quality control checks and tests are instigated and records maintained for surface preparation, dry film thickness, adhesion tests, and temperature/humidity per ITP, method statements, and project specifications.
  • •Supervise paint shop activities where applicable.
  • •Record approved modifications and corrections to piping line list paint and insulation codes on red-lined “as-built” line lists verified by field personnel.
  • •Support safe, reliable operations and client satisfaction by consistently enforcing Wood values and ethical safety standards on-site.

Key Requirements

  • •Vocation, diploma, or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or a related field.
  • •Minimum 10 years’ experience working in live plant, greenfield, and turnaround/revamp work for oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, power plant, or similar.
  • •Extensive track record managing painting/insulation construction activities within oil & gas or petrochemical sectors.
  • •Experience supervising construction staff to achieve effective construction execution.
  • •Excellent communication and written/verbal presentation skills.
