Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling and delivering retail banking products and ongoing client service.
  • •Profile client needs and provide personal financial planning/advisory to establish and update client understanding of financial conditions.
  • •Provide ongoing advisory support and stay current on economic, legal, and investment trends affecting mass affluent clients.
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by acquiring new clients, expanding services, marketing products, and managing sales activity/pipeline in the contact management system.
  • •Work with Truist Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) partners and external centers of influence to deliver integrated client solutions and business development; ensure audit, compliance, and regulatory adherence.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience.
  • •Minimum five years of financial services experience with clients in banking, investments, and/or retail lending (or one year as a financial client relationship manager).
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory, insurance, and investment management/asset allocation for the mass affluent market.
  • •Must have active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 7, and 66 (or 63/65 in lieu of 66), plus applicable insurance licenses; licenses must be active/obtained within required timelines and maintained.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills, with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
