Key Responsibilities

  • •Own solution architecture across payments platform initiatives including new capabilities, modernization, migrations, and regulatory-driven change.
  • •Translate business requirements into designs spanning applications, data, integration, infrastructure, security, and operational processes.
  • •Create and maintain architecture artifacts such as HLD/LLD, diagrams, integration flows, NFRs, runbooks, and ADRs.
  • •Design integration patterns across the payments ecosystem (API-led, event-driven/message-driven, or file-based as required).
  • •Establish payment-specific handling and controls for idempotency, reliability, reconciliation, exception handling, auditability, and security-by-design.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven solution architecture experience delivering complex, distributed systems in an enterprise environment.
  • •Demonstrable experience delivering ISO 20022 payment solutions, including message schemas, mapping/transformation, validation, versioning, and migration coexistence.
  • •Knowledge of payments architectures and/or high-throughput transactional platforms.
  • •Strong integration experience across APIs, messaging/event streaming, and service orchestration.
  • •Experience engineering non-functional requirements (NFRs) for resilience, performance, capacity, disaster recovery, observability, and operational readiness.
