Job Summary

Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to CarMax standards in a clean, climate-controlled shop. Perform maintenance and complex mechanical/electrical repairs, complete multi-point inspections, and document work accurately. Support reconditioning by repairing or replacing components, and assist with alignment, suspension, and performance diagnostics as your skills grow. Collaborate with teammates to meet production goals while following CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to meet CarMax standards, aligned to your experience level.
•Perform automotive services from basic maintenance to complex mechanical and electrical repairs.
•Complete multi-point inspections and accurately document findings and completed work.
•Repair or replace vehicle components such as trim, seals, and panels to support reconditioning.
•Assist with alignment, suspension, and performance diagnostics and follow EH&S requirements while maintaining a clean work area.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 18.2 - 31.9 hourly

Key Requirements

•Basic to intermediate automotive repair experience, including engines, brakes, suspension, or HVAC systems.
•Knowledge of workplace safety protocols and compliance standards.
•Ability to multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
•Strong attention to detail with clear verbal and written communication.
•Valid driver’s license required.
