•Prepare and validate technical specifications for equipment procurement and construction execution.
•Select equipment and materials in accordance with industry standards, client requirements, and engineering best practices.
•Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and constructibility principles.
•Coordinate and supervise design activities with project team members and other disciplines.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 120,000 - 150,000 annually

Key Requirements

•University degree in electrical engineering and licensed with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
•Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical substation design.
•Strong knowledge of medium, high and extra-high voltage networks, switchgear, protection, control, and distribution (25 kV to 765 kV).
•Excellent interpersonal communication and fluent French (spoken and written).
•Good understanding of substation and power plant instrumentation, digitization, and cybersecurity considerations.
