Job Summary

Operate ready-mix trucks safely and professionally to deliver concrete products from the plant to commercial and residential job sites. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain equipment in safe working condition, align and operate delivery equipment to discharge concrete where directed, and verify mix specification compliance. Clean trucks after delivery to prevent concrete hardening and complete additional supervisor-assigned duties.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate ready-mix trucks safely in the plant yard, on public highways/roads, and at job sites to deliver products.
•Perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections and maintain equipment in a safe and clean condition.
•Verify general compliance with mix specifications after loading and at the job site.
•Align the mixer drum under the disbursement chute, drive to unload locations, and operate truck chute to discharge concrete where directed.
•Clean trucks after delivery to prevent concrete hardening and place/operate chutes to deliver product as directed.

Key Requirements

•One to two years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos, and write simple correspondence.
•Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
•Must possess a valid state commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or Class B.
•Must possess a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard.
