Job Summary

Design and deliver interactive dashboards and reporting solutions with Power BI, translating business reporting needs into technical implementations. Build and optimize Teradata SQL (views, stored procedures) and perform ETL to load data into Power BI datasets. Create dimensional data models (star/snowflake), tune performance with DAX and query optimization, and implement data security via row-level security. Support reporting in Agile/Scrum teams with testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
•Develop and optimize Teradata SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.
•Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from Teradata and other sources into Power BI datasets.
•Create and optimize dimensional data models (star/snowflake) and reusable datasets, dataflows, and semantic models in Power BI.
•Implement row-level security, perform report testing/troubleshooting, and provide production support with documentation in Agile/Scrum teams.

Key Requirements

•6–9 years of IT experience with strong expertise in Power BI development.
•Hands-on experience with Teradata SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
•Strong knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Gateway.
•Expertise in DAX and Power Query (M Language), including calculated columns and measures.
•Experience with data modeling, dimensional modeling, ETL, and Power BI deployment/security concepts (including workspaces and security).
