Job Summary

Support project delivery for wastewater network modelling, including supervising tasks and reviewing deliverables. Help develop the team’s urban drainage modelling capability and provide training to more junior members. Provide technical input on urban drainage projects, use independent engineering judgement to propose innovative solutions, and maintain client relationships while supporting proposals, business development, and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

•Support team leaders in managing project delivery, including supervising tasks and reviewing deliverables.
•Develop urban drainage modelling capability and stay ahead of latest developments in the discipline.
•Provide technical input on urban drainage projects and support wastewater team delivery across current and future work.
•Exercise independent engineering judgement to develop innovative engineering solutions.
•Develop client relationships, coordinate project meetings, and contribute to business development and proposal preparation.

Key Requirements

•A relevant degree and chartered status, or significant progress toward qualification with ICE, IEI, IoW, or CIWEM.
•Demonstrable experience in wastewater hydraulic modelling using InfoWorks ICM, including checking others’ technical outputs before issue.
•Working knowledge of Water Industry Specifications, the Code of Practice for the Hydraulic Modelling of Urban Drainage Systems, and relevant British Standards.
•Good written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
