Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the financial project manager for a strategic active U.S. Government contract, owning budgets, financial tracking, and adherence to company financial policies.
  • •Manage financial accounting for additional smaller programs, balancing priorities while maintaining consistent financial tracking.
  • •Partner with cross-functional program teams to monitor expenditures, forecast financial performance, and track progress against approved budgets.
  • •Develop and maintain detailed program financial plans and spend schedules, including aligning annual operating plan (AOP) budgets with program plans.
  • •Provide periodic reporting on program health and identify, mitigate, and escalate financial risks and issues; support proposal and follow-on opportunity efforts.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong financial management skills with technical understanding of engineering tasks and execution.
  • •Proven experience managing the financial execution of U.S. Government contracts (DoD, IC, or other federal agencies).
  • •Strong working knowledge of U.S. Government contracting regulations (FAR/DFARS) and contract types (FFP, CPFF, OTA, etc.).
  • •Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional, matrixed programs and influence teams that do not report directly to you.
  • •Ability and willingness to obtain Active U.S. Government security clearance required; must be a U.S. citizen.
