Key Responsibilities

•Lead the end-to-end permitting and licensing application process required to operate sorting and fulfillment centers across multiple US states, ensuring approvals before facility launch dates.
•Manage permit requirements including zoning and land-use permits, building permits, certificates of occupancy, business operation licenses, environmental permits, fire-safety approvals, and signage permits.
•Conduct regulatory research to identify applicable federal, state, municipal, and jurisdiction-specific regulations and develop compliance timelines for upcoming facilities.
•Coordinate with facility development, construction, real estate, and operations teams, and engage external consultants, attorneys, and government agencies to support reviews and approvals.
•Maintain a centralized tracking system for applications, milestones, renewal dates, dependencies, and responsible parties; develop standardized playbooks, workflows, templates, and checklists to scale the process.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
•2+ years of experience in permitting, licensing, regulatory compliance, facility development, or related areas, preferably within logistics/warehousing, real estate development, or construction.
•Hands-on knowledge of US state, municipal, and jurisdictional regulatory processes, including obtaining operational permits, facility approvals, or business licenses.
•Strong project-management skills to manage multiple parallel applications across different states and jurisdictions.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working professionally with government agencies, external consultants, attorneys, and internal stakeholders.
