Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement, and maintain engineering functions for the facility to support operations and achieve manufacturing and quality objectives.
  • •Coordinate equipment installations and provide technical support for manufacturing processes.
  • •Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes using research programs and product design/fabrication/assembly knowledge.
  • •Plan, organize, and lead project teams through PROLaunch (Phase-Gate) and apply basic project management tools.
  • •Implement process changes, coordinate prototype product/system manufacturing, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement through preventive maintenance and Environmental Management Program compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, electronic or manufacturing engineering.
  • •4 years’ experience in manufacturing or an engineering environment, ideally in the automotive industry.
  • •Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques and manufacturing processes.
  • •Training/knowledge in assembly controls, automation, mistake proofing techniques, and CNC programming.
  • •Experience interpreting mechanical drawings and basic use of CAD and/or SolidWorks systems.
