  • •Prepare and deliver detailed risk reports for senior leadership, risk committees, and regulatory bodies, highlighting risk trends and control effectiveness.
  • •Maintain the risk register, including event logging, investigation, categorisation, root-cause analysis, mitigation, and ensuring it stays current and aligned with the risk framework.
  • •Support regular reviews of the operational risk management framework to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years’ experience in a 1st/2nd line operational risk role in financial services.
  • •Experience with operational risk event management (incident identification, registration, management, escalation, remediation and action tracking).
  • •Familiarity with the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process.
  • •Ability to automate manual steps in operational risk processes using AI tools, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills, plus stakeholder management across risk, compliance, and IT teams.
